How to Create a Double Exposure Effect in Photoshop

Creating a multiple exposure photograph back in the film days was a matter of combining two or more exposures to create a unique image. The idea was to open the camera shutter multiple times to expose the film again and again to different subjects or scenes – creating that nice double exposure effect.

Today, this effect can still be achieved with film cameras. But when it comes to the digital realm, we need a little help from our friend, Photoshop [1]. In this video we’ll take 2 images and combine them using various techniques to create a double exposure photo.
