Nothing herein grants an obligation by Contrastly to grant a refund.

Pricing and Currency

All products for sale on Contrastly and processed via the Contrastly store are listed in USD currency. This includes our Premium Lightroom Presets, Premium Photoshop Actions, and eBooks.

FTC Disclosure

Since December 1, 2009, the FTC requires online publications to disclose whenever they receive any sort of compensation – be it in the form of free products or monetary compensation.

First, let’s get the obvious out of the way. Contrastly accepts monetary compensation for advertising, sponsorships, paid insertions, as well as free products and services. Our main business is Lightroom Presets, Photoshop Actions, and eBooks, but we do receive monetary compensation via advertising and sponsored content.

Now for the not-so-obvious. Contrastly relies partly on advertising revenues, affiliate commission, and other forms of revenues to keep going. We are a profitable website, but we got there by providing honest reviews, recommending great products (that we use ourselves) and provide links to relevant products when appropriate. We pay our writers well and care deeply about the photography industry.

Please note that the advertising space or sponsored content published on this site may not always be directly identified as paid or sponsored. The views and opinions expressed on Contrastly are our own. Any product claim, statistical information, citation or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer or provider in question.

All this to say that when you read an article on Contrastly, we may include links in the content of the article that point to third party websites. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. We also earn a commission from sites such as PhotographyPla.net, ShutterSweets, B&H Photo, On1 Software, Photzy, BuySellAds, ImpactRadius, TradeDoubler, Google Adsense and various others. We get paid a small amount every time you click and/or purchase something from those 3rd party websites. This is, in part, how we can operate this website and keep both our writers and our readers happy.
