It’s no secret that Instagram is one of the most popular photo sharing apps out there. One feature it lacks though is the ability to download your photos and videos, especially when you want to download all of your library to your computer. That’s where 4K Stogram comes in!

Once you’re installed the 4K Stogram application – which works on OS X, Windows, and Linux – you’ll be presented with a window and an input field where you can enter an Instagram username.

Simply enter your username in the input field and hit enter, 4K Stogram will then start downloading all of your Instagram photos and videos. 4K Stogram doesn’t require you enter your username or password, so you can in fact download Instagram photos and videos from any user, provided the media files are public.

You could also download pictures from private users, provided they are your friend, in which case you will be prompted for your own credentials to login to your Instagram account.

We’re also happy to report that the download process is as smooth as butter.

Then, simply navigate to the folder where 4K Stogram downloaded your images and videos on your computer. On OS X, the application automagically created a new folder inside the Pictures folder called, you guessed it, 4K Stogram.

You can also export users into a Stogram Export File (*.4ks), which allows you to save a library to your computer, which you can then import back into 4K Stogram should the need arise.

For the purpose of this review we have tested the Mac OS X version of 4K Stogram. The free trial is limited to only 2 users, but the registered version of the app is rather inexpensive at $19.95 – at the time of writing this review, 4K Stogram is $9.95 for a limited time.
